About Kahalealiʻi
Kahalealiʻi was founded with a vision to honor Hawaiian heritage through modern design. Rooted in the values and traditions of Hawaiʻi, our brand represents more than clothing, it is a reflection of identity, culture, and legacy. Each piece is crafted to share a story, connecting generations from keiki to kupuna.
Our Mission
Our mission is to celebrate and perpetuate Hawaiian culture through fashion that is both authentic and contemporary. By blending traditional elements with modern aesthetics, we strive to create apparel that carries meaning, pride, and respect. Every design reflects the values of aloha, ʻohana, and kuleana, reminding us of our responsibility to live with integrity and connection.
the meaning of
Kahalealiʻi
Kahalealiʻi is more than just a name, it is a lineage. Derived from my Hawaiian middle name, it honors the strength, dignity, and leadership embodied by the aliʻi.
The name serves as a guiding principle for our brand: to uplift, to respect, and to carry ourselves with purpose.
The Essentials
The foundation of the ʻŌlelo Collection. Clean, timeless, and intentional, the ʻŌlelo Tee represents the power of language to connect people and preserve identity. Simple in form yet rich in meaning, it’s a daily reminder that heritage lives in the words we choose and the way we carry them.

Comfort with purpose. The ʻŌlelo Crewneck is more than an everyday essential, it’s a reflection of the voice that defines culture. ʻŌlelo is the heartbeat of heritage, passed from one generation to the next. This piece carries that spirit forward with quiet strength and timeless style.
Carry heritage with you. The Kahili Tote draws inspiration from the kahili, a symbol of chiefly lineage and respect. Minimal in design yet powerful in meaning, it represents strength, purpose, and identity in motion, an everyday essential rooted in tradition.
A modern cut inspired by ancestral voices. The ‘Ōlelo Cropped Tee embodies the strength of words, how language shapes identity and carries heritage forward. Minimal in design, rooted in culture, this piece reflects the Kahalealiʻi philosophy of honoring the past while shaping the future.
